Life's been way too busy to blog . Between an injured husband, an out of control work schedule and just pure exhaustion it's been an interesting February and now March.

A couple of weeks ago Josie and I went to see Missy Higgins in concert at the Pabst Theater. WHAT a show. Her cover of Tom Petty was one of my favorite moments of the night. Here's the song from her set in Nebraska. I can't wait for her to come back. (Or maybe we'll just have to go to Australia to see her. :)

training started
well, I am 3 days into training for this triathlon. wow. it hurts. I ran Saturday and Sunday - not very far. This really is my weakness. And Tuesday was so beautiful I went for a bike ride with Jason during lunch. Wet and muddy, yes. But it was a great ride! Wednesday was a bit of a day off since I wasn't home - so tonight, on top of cleaning and spending some much needed time with David, I must ride. MUST RIDE my bike.

where will you be July 12?
In a move that is shocking everyone - including myself - I've signed up for my first triathlon. And now, I have to tell everyone so that I don't back out.

what I did at work yesterday.

Yesterday was a pretty stressful day at work. I was up until 3 a.m. working through some web issues with my awesome technical architect....and as a result slept in a bit....my late start to the office didn't resolve the horrible traffic.

I knew it was going to be a late night to try to get everything done yesterday.....luckily I remembered that I had my new mini ping pong set at work...and busted it out for Jason and I to play as a little afternoon break.

Such fun fun fun in the office.

baby addyson

aubrey gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last night. addyson riley was born in the evening weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces. I know it sounds silly but I am just so proud of her and all of my girlfriends that have given birth. I am just so amazed by it all.

christmas at our house.

we had such a wonderful time with david's family at our house for christmas. definitely helps to start to make our house feel like a home.

bob took photos of us in the living room with his new camera and stitched them all together. kinda cool! you'll see that I was still busy finishing my 'make it bake it sew it or grow it' for casey. but hey, i finished!!
